The Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) is a doctorate program for senior professional managers/ administrators. It combines coursework and research investigations. The mission of DBA program is to create a body of knowledge embedded in practice, and the ultimate vision is to develop and disseminate management theories, grounded in the Asian business practices and experiences, including case studies and industry analysis.

Purpose

1). to enhance leadership and strategic skills of DBA candidates
2). to enable DBA students to analyse and refine management practices and create additional value for their organizations
3). to help DBA students to acquire advanced management research skills and holistic knowledge of strategic issues in order to lead and manage organizations more effectively and in socially responsible ways
4). to prepare DBA students to carry out research in organizational context based on their practical experience and translating it into management theories.

Selection Process

The Selection to the program will be based on several criteria such as academic qualifications, experience, professional accomplishments, level of responsibility of the applicant and statement of purpose. An interview may also be arranged before the final selection made. The selected applicants will be informed at least one month prior to start the program.
