What is IELTS

IELTS is the International English Language Testing System. It measures ability to communicate in English across all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – for people who intend to study or work where English is the language of communication.

Business English Certificates (BEC)

BECis a suite of three exams - BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage, BEC Higher - designed to test English language ability used in the context of business. They are suitable for adults who are either preparing for a career in business or already in work. The exams cover the same range of language skills as the Main Suite exams, but with the emphasis on activities that are common in business.

Duration : 64 Hrs to 72 Hrs (04 months)

Dual Qualification
After completion of the course students have the option of sitting for the PET Examination conducted by the British Council. (An internationally recognized qualification from Cambridge University).

This programme is designed to give participants exposure in the following skills:

WRITING : Grammar and composition skills, letter writing and e-mails, with focus on fiction and non-fiction. Comprehension skills of a variety of writing including short stories, passages, poems and current affairs.

READING : Learning to identify words, pronounce words and get their meaning. Improve skills in reading and speech through speech methods.

SPEAKING : Through a variety of activities like group discussions, dialogues and reading aloud of famous speeches, boost confidence and encourage speaking clearly and to the point. Guide participants through presentation skills with the aid of materials from BBC.

We also use new teaching methods which encourage participants of the class and feedback. So the lessons are tailor made for the needs of participants gearing them towards a British TEFL/ ESL certification.

A variety of other activities such as drama, debate walk about, movie review, song reviews are also part of the course

Dual Qualification
After completion of the course students have the option of sitting for the BEC Examination conducted by the British Council. (An internationally recognized qualification from Cambridge University).

Spoken English - For individuals to be competent in their speaking ability/speech so that they are able to: Fluently converse| gain confidence with associates, friends & subordinates | acquire a range of vocabulary | build up personality with a positive attitude towards life|

This is designed for | - School leavers looking to proceed to certificate level | - Working adults

Course Content :

Syllabus will be from City & Guilds that will include:
o Grammar and writing skills
o Speaking and listening
o Pronunciation, fluency and key features of Spoken English
o Role-play, reading and adaptation of the modern methods of communication

Duration : 48 hours (4 Months)

Dual Qualification
After completion of the course students have the option of sitting for the Spoken English for Speakers of Other Languages (SESOL) Examination. An internationally recognized qualification from City & Guilds - UK.

Successful candidates will be awarded a “Certificate in Spoken English” after completion of the program
