Conducting painting and renovation day at Dharmaraja Primary School

ICBT Colombo campus BM 94 students complete a project by conducting painting and renovation day at Dharmaraja Primary School at Karagoda, Yakkalamulla. There are 220 students currently studying from grade 1 to 5 under lack of facilities. Color washing the buildings, desks and chairs is one of the need they try to accomplish via donors past two years. BM 94 students respond to the need and purchase required paint and other material. Further, students have identified that students were lacking certain stationary. Apart of paint and material, BM 94 students purchased stationary 220 packs of stationaries to entire school. It took three months to finish the project and students and the campus spent around Rs. 330,000/= to complete the project. Students of BM 94 carried out various fundraising activities such as, comedy shows, food stalls and movie days to collect necessary fund requirement of the project while the balance requirement given by the ICBT campus through the CSR budget.

Providing medical equipment to Ayurvedic Hospital - Borella

Ayurvedic Hospital

ICBT Colombo campus BM 97 students complete a project by providing requested medical equipment to Ayuruvedic Hospital, Borella. There is a shortage of certain medical equipment and hospital was unable to funded by them during the current pandemic situation of the country. Therefore, BM 97 students respond to the request sent by Dr. Dhamiika Lokugamage and purchase requested items for the surgical ward. It took two months to finish the project and students and the campus spent around Rs. 125,000/= to complete the project. Students of BM 97 carried out various fundraising activities such as, food stalls and Selling T-shirts to collect necessary fund requirement of the project while the balance requirement given by the ICBT campus through the CSR budget.

Providing dry rations and construction material for Sri Vajira Orphanage at – Pita kotte

ICBT Colombo campus BM 95 students complete a project by providing Dry rations and certain construction material at Sri Vajira Children’s Orphanage, Pita Kotte. There are 80 boys currently staying at the Orphanage and they were lacking of certain dry rations. Therefore, BM 95 students respond to the request and purchase necessary items for them. Further, students have identified that certain doors of the orphanage are fell apart and students paid for the material that require to replace a new door. Add to that, students spent some quality time and sponsored evening tea with nice snacks for all the staff and children at the orphanage. It took two months to finish the project and students and the campus spent around Rs. 177,500/= to complete the project. Students of BM 95 carried out various fundraising activities such as, Scrunches selling and food stalls to collect necessary fund requirement of the project while the balance requirement given by the ICBT campus through the CSR budget

Under the module of Business Skills & Managing Business Project the Higher Diploma students of Networking 11 and Software engineering 68 batch renovated the entire IT Lab for Thalpitiya Junior College.
